Friction is the pinnacle of summer shirting fabrics—engineered from a 2‑ply 120s thread‑count microfiber yarn, it delivers an ultra‑smooth handfeel while maintaining exceptional durability and drape. Crafted under the Markhor Textile umbrella with precision finishing by Ahmad Jamal Textile Mills, this exclusive material is your go‑to choice for shalwar kameez that stay crisp, vibrant, and supremely comfortable in even the hottest climates. Available only at Muhajar Cloth House Gujranwala (in‑store and online), Friction outperforms near‑rivals like Yameen’s Royal Elite and Dynasty’s Inspire, combining the best of advanced textile science with traditional tailoring excellence.

Features

Premium 2‑Ply 120s Microfiber Construction
Friction’s fibers are spun into a double‑plied 120s yarn, creating a finer, denser weave that feels luxuriously smooth against the skin while standing up to daily wear and laundering. By using two strands (“2‑ply”) twisted together, the fabric gains added strength and resilience, reducing pilling and extending garment life.

Ultra‑Soft, Breathable Comfort
Although microfiber is traditionally prized for its wicking and moisture‑management properties, Friction is specially engineered to allow superior airflow—pulling sweat away from the body so you stay cool and dry even in scorching summer heat
The Spruce.
The ultra‑fine filaments (about one‑fifth the diameter of a human hair) create a light, airy fabric that drapes beautifully without clinging or trapping heat.

Exceptional Color Retention
High‑grade reactive dyes lock in vibrant hues, ensuring Friction retains its rich color wash after wash with no bleeding or fading.
Unlike lower‑end cottons or blends, this microfiber resists the chemical breakdown that leads to dullness and discoloration over time, so your shalwar kameez always look freshly pressed.

Superior Wrinkle Resistance
Thanks to its sateen‑style weave and the compact nature of 2‑ply yarn, Friction naturally resists creasing and droop, making ironing all but optional. Whether you’re traveling or simply wearing it straight from the wardrobe, you’ll enjoy a sharp, polished silhouette without the fuss.

Durable & Easy‑Care Performance
Microfiber’s tightly woven structure offers outstanding tensile strength and abrasion resistance, meaning Friction can withstand frequent washing and high‑stress areas (collars, cuffs, pleats) without thinning or fraying. It dries quickly, resists shrinkage, and cleans up easily—ideal for daily wear in hot, humid environments.

Competitive Edge
Royal Elite by Yameen: Also uses imported microfibers for a luxurious look and feel, but is a blended weave at ~110 GSM compared to Friction’s full‑weight microfiber construction.

Inspire by Dynasty Fabrics: Crafted from high‑end cotton offering softness and durability, yet lacks the advanced moisture‑wicking and ultra‑fine handfeel of Friction’s 2‑ply microfiber.
