Aberdeen Cotton is a premium Egyptian Giza cotton with liquid ammonia mercerized dyeing. High-quality 100% Egyptian Giza yarns are used for Aberdeen Cotton and specifically processed by Ahmad Jamal Textile with an Ammonia Finish to make it more resistant to wrinkles.

Liquid Ammonia Finish is a treatment given to cotton threads that strengthen and give them a lustrous appearance. In this process, ammonia gas is taken to a very high minus temperature and converted into liquid ammonia. The fabric is then processed under this liquid ammonia. This makes the fabric:

Pre-Shrink Fabric in a Separate Bath.
Avoid Washing Colored & White Fabric together.
Avoid Leko finished lining (Bukram) for Cuff’s & Collar etc. in tailoring.
Dry color Fabrics away from direct sunlight.
Use lukewarm water & mild detergent (Bleach Free).
Do not Bleach.
Iron at low temperature setting and for Dark colors, iron only the wrong side to prevent shine marks.
